Using video production in Training

For most training subjects, using video can enhance and accelerate understanding and make the experience more positive.  Our training packages can be on DVD or on-line with interactive questioning.

McDonald’s & Keystone Distribution

The brief:  To support  McDonald’s continuing environmental policy, a training video was required to introduce a new system regarding the recycling of the fry oil into fuel for the Keystone Distribution delivery vehicles as well as introduce a new storeroom system.

Our solution:  Filming at a variety of restaurants we showed the exact procedures that need to be followed by McDonald’s staff with appropriate illustrative animations.  Video is particularly effective  at showing procedures clearly, consistently,  and in an engaging manner.

Information Commissioner's Office

The brief:  The ICO required a set of videos aimed at consumers and small businesses showing how to operate a reputable call centre without breaking any of the data protection directives in place.

Our solution:  Using actors and carefully created scripts, we ensured that all the ICO’s points were included in a watchable short video format.  As well as the call centre scenarios, we also produced videos on how to approach people in public areas when personal data was being collected.

Other training projects include those for TATA Steel (formerly Corus), Siemens, EC Harris, Schlumberger, Maersk, BAE Systems, Enterprise, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, Drive Smarter, B&Q, British Constructional Steel Association, Pannone.

Premier Foods - Hovis driver safety

The brief:  As part of the comprehensive set of Premier Foods training videos, there was a need to remind drivers that by driving in a calm, non agressive manner, they would be safer and healthier.

Our solution: Bakermedia set up a "Top Gear" type challenge where a Hovis delivery employee drove round the same course in two different states of mind.  Driving calmly took many minutes off the total time.  The videos have been very well received particularly at reinforcing keeping a good life balance.
