TATA steel packaging

The brief: A new safety initiative being introduced at TATA steel plants in the Netherlands, Belgium and Wales required the production of a powerful video to show how to act safely when the production line breaks down.

Our solution:  After a specific incident case study was identified, we re-eneacted the situation at the Netherlands plant with the actual workers involved and this has dramatically reinforced the safety messages in the rest of the video.

Other Health & Safety training projects include those for Ryder Marsh, Enterprise plc, eon, Schlumberger, Maersk, BAE Systems Portsmouth, Staffordshire Fire & Rescue, Drive Smarter, British Constructional Steel Association, Evesway coaches.

Serimax - safety induction videos

The brief:  This international pipe welding and laying organisation has worked with Bakermedia for many years, with filming at several  locations around the world.  Sermiax needed an effective and consistent way to train new staff across all their locations.

Our solution:  Rather than produce one generic induction video, Bakermedia produced a series of induction videos aimed at staff who have specific safety considerations at Serimax’s spoolbases and barge operations as well as their landline work across Europe. All videos are subtitled in-house in 4 langauges.

BAE Systems - Training DVDs

The brief:  The incident rate at Goven was low but mnay workers were coming into work with injuries sustained at home or in their leisure time.

Our solution:  We worked with the client to produce a series of videos to reinforce to workers that the same safety awareness should be used outside of work as well as inside, in order to keep themselves and their families healthy and well.

Schlumberger - Training DVDs

The brief:  Schlumberger required a training programme for their safety managers, particularly about how to approach people who are doing unsafe acts.

Our solution:  We worked with Ryder Marsh Safety and Schlumberger  to create a bespoke version of a previously successful generic training video for safety staff. Filmed across the UK and the USA, we ensured that we followed the organisation's internal policies and brand guidelines.

Premier Foods - Training DVD & booklet

The brief:  The Hovis division of Premier Foods needed a comprehensive training programme for all of their 1,300 drivers. The focus was to provide practical procedures and safety advice , and engender greater company loyalty amongst the teams

Our solution:  We produced a boxed DVD with an accompanying booklet, which covered all the various areas a driver has to deal with, from loading the vehicles to dealing with the paperwork.

We involved many drivers in the process and the DVD's links came from the historic "Hovis Boy".
