Education
Whether it’s a School, College or University, attracting the best students is becoming increasingly competitive. The traditional prospectus often doesn’t give the flavour of these institutions.
Video makes these places come alive and more inviting to the student and to the parent.
Oldham College
The brief: The college needed a powerful video that explained the benefits of vocational courses.
Our solution: We filmed two of their own students using the Chromakey system, and created engaging animated graphics to get the information across. We were careful not to patronise in the editorial content as well as ensuring that the visuals not only appealed to potential students but also to parents as well.
St Ambrose School
The brief: The high school needed a solution to the age old problem of junior school children feeling apprehensive or even developing sickness on joining “the big school”.
Our solution: We created a drama scenario where we trained up children and teachers to play the parts. A girl has bizarre nightmares about what she perceives the high school to be like and is relieved when the reality is far better.
King’s School
The brief: This Cheshire based school is spread across two sites and required a DVD to show its academic credentials as well how friendly and welcoming the school is.
Our solution: We filmed at open days as well as main tuition days to gather a wide selection of shots covering not just the tuition but sports and extra curricular activities. A DVD is sent out inside the back flap of every prospectus.
Other education projects include Runshaw College and Blackpool College; please contact us for a DVD of all projects you are interested in seeing.
