The Medical Defence Union is a mutual organisation owned by its members - doctors, dentists and other healthcare professionals. The MDU was the first defence organisation for medical staff in the world and has led the way ever since. It has now commissioned Bakermedia to produce a comprehensive film to cover how the MDU has developed over the last 125 years to be shown at its anniversary conference, and to be used as a training aid and to help generate more memberships of the organisation. Filming will be done at the London Southwark HQ of the Medical Defence Union as well as around the UK.
As well as having a broadcast documentary style, the MDU film will contain many dramatic inserts to illustrate key moments during the MDU's history.
